Instituto Unibán is a private, non-profit, formal education institution that serves children, young and adult population of kindergarten, elementary school, junior high school, and senior high school education levels of Urabá's banana region.
The core of its integral training proposal is the full development of BEING as based on the principles of learning to BE, learning to LEARN, and learning to COEXIST, within a context of knowledge building, research attitudes, and democratic practices for the optimal development of knowledge, human dignity, solidarity, cultural improvement, and a social ecological awareness in order to continuously improve the population's life quality.
