Education is our priority and it is the means par excellence for learning to live in society. Since 1970 in Uraba, through Instituto Uniban, we have been offering children, youths and adults an alternative for integrated education with academic programs that are widely recognized at the national level.

The Institute is seen as a school that provides formal education and education for work and the human development of the Uraba community, as an opportunity to improve their quality of life through curricula and complementary programs, training honest and rounded persons with scientific, technological, environmental and humanistic knowledge. This enables the people to lead processes and to enter successfully the world of professional competencies.

We strengthen schools with few resources by offering the opportunity to access the education system through pedagogical processes, school government, education infrastructure, and environment, with curricula that have been adapted for life, work and opportunity, by learning new competencies.
