Awards

Augura, Corbanacol and Fundauniban received the "Emprender paz" award granted by the German Technical Cooperation Agency, GTZ and the Konrad Adenauer Foundation, KAS, and the Ministry of Trade, Industry and Tourism for 'the promotion of community development for peace" and the implementation of a program or project under the Cooperation Agreement between Asociación de Bananeros de Colombia, Augura and the Dutch Embassy. September 30, 2009.

Fenalco Antioquia gave an award for 'Business Loyalty' to Fundauniban within the framework of the 2009 Uraba Retailers' Symposium. The nomination for this distinction was made by the retailers in the region after evaluating the work carried out by Fundauniban through C.I. Uniban S.A's Corporate Social Responsibility program. August, 2009.

Fundauniban received the award "El Colombiano Ejemplar" (the exemplar Colombian), in the institutional category of Solidarity, as the company that has made social work its leitmotif and has improved the quality of life of other Colombians. February 6, 2007.

The Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Development and its Project of support for rural micro enterprises - Pademer – recognized Fundauniban as a pioneer in the development of the rural micro credit market in Colombia. 2005.

Fundauniban received its ISO 9001: 2008 quality certification granted by ICONTEC for the processes of design and development, implementation and evaluation of socioeconomic projects and services in the regions of Uraba and Magdalena. 2009.

On several occasions, to "the company with the best social projection in Colombia" for its good economic performance and its praiseworthy social work, in 1991, 1992, 1994, 1999, 2000 and 2005. In addition, in 1998 we received an Honorable Mention from that organization.

Fundauniban received from the British-Colombian Chamber of Commerce the Corporate Social Responsibility award given to Colombian or British companies that have ties to both countries. "The British & Colombian Social Awards". April, 2004.

In 1999, the House of Representatives of the Republic of Colombia gave Fundauniban, a "Motion of Recognition" for the work carried out in the banana-growing regions during its first ten years of institutional life.

In 1988, the World Bank and the program of Alliances of the Corona Foundation gave Fundauniban recognition for its project of 'Solid waste recycling for Female heads of Household in Uraba".
